Day 1 - EPHESUS TOUR

It's built in 1960 to commamerate all the turkýsh soldiers who lost their lives and have no known graves. 41.7 meters high and standing on four feet. Being located at the entrance of the dardanelles strait its the most impressive memorial on the peninsula.

It's 243 meters high, the highest and the most stratejýk hill of the peninsula, allied forces's goal was

capturing this hill taking controll of the kilitbahir plato. Allied forces never reached to the peak but they did their best. For the sake of the hill thousands of soldiers lost their lives from both sides.
